Wildlife holidays

Wildlife holidays in Poland!
The North East of Poland (Podlasie Region) contains one of the very last completely unspoilt European habitats. In  this wild and relatively undiscovered corner of Europe, are located three magnificent national parks that still contain the best preserved fragment of ancient lowland forest anywhere in Europe.

Our Mansion is located between these three national parks, so it is a perfect place to plan a trip to marshes, river systems and swamp forests of Biebrza, Narew and Białowieża National Park. You can travel on foot, by bike (you can rent them at "Swans" Riverside Apartments) or by watercraft like kayak.

The North East of Poland has a lot to offer. You can observe  a huge variety of endangered species living in their natural wetland habitat, including wolves, elk, wild boar, beavers and the last remaining population of European Bison.

Highlights:

  • Explore one of the last untouched natural European habitats, with opportunities to spot wild bison, boar, beavers, a countless variety of birds and track wolves through primeval forest.
  • Come face to face with a European Bison, the last remaining population lives here in Poland's untouched wilderness.
  • Travel through Europe's 'Amazon', by kayak, foot and horse drawn cart.
  • A great starting point to all of the Podlasie Region attractions (see the map)
  • Comfortable rooms with bathrooms and free Wifi (rooms gallery)
  • Geat terrace by the Narew River is a perfect place to observe birds (terrace gallery)
